New Orleans, LA

In New Orleans and throughout the outlying areas, families continue to rebuild their lives in a city that still bears the scars of Hurricane Katrina and the destruction it left behind. As the recovery process ends, the process of reestablishing communities continues. Your group will join others from around the country by completing home repair projects such as basic repairs, painting, drywall, roofing and building wheelchair ramps.

Additionally, there will be an afternoon and morning of relational ministry serving alongside local ministries to help reach out through Christian service to an area still in need. Groups will be able to share the love of Christ through giving hygiene packets to communities and people in need.

Lodging: Groups participating in the New Orleans mission trip stay in bunk-style housing with on-site showers, chapel, gym, and dining hall. All meals are provided except two lunches and two dinners during free time.

Area Attractions: Riverfront District & French Quarter, Aquarium, Gulf Islands Water Park, Ship Island Excursions, French Quarter, Mississippi River
