Baton Rouge, LA Disaster Relief

The devastating floods in and around Baton Rouge, Louisiana left widespread damage including thousands of damaged homes and displaced families. The rebuilding process, especially for the poor and elderly, will go on long after the media has lost interest. This summer your group can join relief teams from all over the country bring hope to a hurting community by re-building  homes and helping families reestablish their lives.

Lodging: Summer mission trip groups stay at a local church with on-site shower facilities, dining area, chapel and recreation facilities. All meals are provided except for two lunches and two dinners during free time.

Area Attractions: Baton Rouge Zoo, historic downtown Baton Rouge, Blue Bayou Water Park, Dixie Landin' Amusement Park, museums and wildlife refuges.
