Mission Teams Serving in the Smokey Mountains

Over the years, youth mission teams and our mission camp staff have formed strong bonds with the people they minister to in the poor communities scattered throughout the mountains of eastern Tennessee. Some of these local residents are destitute and forgotten, living in clusters of dilapidated, seemingly unlivable homes alongside old dirt roads. Some of them are widows or young families who just need help to get their homes dry and winterized. There are even others who are trying to run outreach missions, but don't even have enough funds to keep up their own facilities.

Throughout these areas are children and adults who just need to be shown the love of Christ. Youth mission teams will be able to minister in these areas through home work projects such as painting and repair.

Lodging: Church mission teams will stay in college dorms with use of chapel, pool, dining and recreation facilities. All meals are provided except for two lunches and two dinners during free time.

Area Adventure Activities & Attractions: Smoky Mountain National Forest, hiking trails, waterfalls, caverns, horseback riding, tubing, whitewater rafting, Dollywood, Splash Country, Gatlinburg, Tennessee
