Youth Mission Work in Oklahoma

During this trip, youth mission work is complete at a children's home through hands-on repair and improvement projects, as well as through interaction, games and outreach to the children who live there. Groups will also be able to minister to the local communities in Tahlequah through home repair, painting, and maintenance. Another opportunity for groups will be working with Camp Grey Squirrel in their ministry to local autistic kids. All of these experiences offer youth a way to help meet the needs of the children at the home and the people of the communities, some of which are of Cherokee decent, through hands-on projects and relational ministry.

Lodging: Groups performing youth mission work will stay at the Circle of Care Retreat with bunk style cabins, dining hall, chapel, sports fields, indoor gym, volleyball and swimming pool. All meals are provided except two lunches and two dinners during free time.

Area Attractions: Tubing, canoeing, water park, Cherokee Heritage Center, amusement center
