Summer Mission Trip to Atlanta, GA

Within the bustling city of Atlanta are many areas where people are struggling to cope with the harsh realities of urban life. Your summer mission trip group will be able to reach out and serve in some of the poorest inner city neighborhoods through a variety of service projects working alongside ministries that operate clothing centers, food pantries and shelters. Other programs include minor home repairs for families in need. Your youth will have an opportunity to serve in several of these outreach programs during the week leading to a full experience in inner city ministry.

Lodging: Summer mission trip groups stay at a local church and family life center with on-site shower facilities, dining area, chapel and recreation facilities. All meals are provided except for two lunches and two dinners during free time.

Area Attractions: Downtown Atlanta, Olympic Village, MLK memorial, Coke Museum, Six flags, Georgia Aquarium
