Mission Projects:

TEAMeffort has been operating mission projects in Tampa Bay since 1994. This summer we will continue ministry within the migrant farmworker community as youth groups reach out to serve migrant families through home repair and continued renovations at the migrant mission center. Groups will also have the pportunity to reach migrant children through Children’s Outreach Programs and local neighborhoods. We will continue other ministries such as outreach to the deaf through home repair and improvements, as well as service to adults with special needs through hands-on projects at a community center that cares for them.

Lodging:

Groups will stay at a local school with on-site showers, recreation facilities, dining room, and worship area. The lodging is close to
area beaches that we will visit for cook-outs, music, devotions, and
just for fun. All meals are provided except two lunches and two dinners during free time.

Beaches, Adventure Island, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios, Johns Pass Village

Typical Schedule:

Sunday: Registration begins at 6:00 pm. Orientation, music and worship.

Monday: Work on the mission projects. Beach cookout, music and program.

Tuesday: Work on mission projects. Evening music and worship.

Wednesday: Work on mission project. Evening music and program.

Thursday: Free day to visit local attractions. Evening closing worship service.

Friday: Free day to visit local attractions. Friday night Fellowship.

Saturday: Depart by 10:00 am.
