On TEAMeffort staff it's easy to find yourself upside down sometimes, both figuratively and literally. During the summers I have been challenged to share my faith, love in ways I never thought possible, hope for things that are not seen, and rest in the Lord. It is not easy, but it is real and through it all, He is glorified.

God is everywhere, but especially here: In the work, and the youth groups, and the home-owners, and the unplanned "problems" that really turn out to be blessings. God is more than with us. He is training us for every good work. And the best part is the fellowship: We truly share in the Gospel through Godly friendships and relationships built along the way. Summer of 2009 was my first ever with TEAMeffort. I knew God would show me some cool things but I never expected what I got. Everyday God appeared in unbelievable ways, from the really small to the super BIG, He was always there. I grew in Him in more ways than I ever imagined. I learned my strengths and weaknesses and gained a new perspective on ME. I was challenged and pushed and pushed some more. I made the most amazing friends and got to spend the summer doing neat things for God in a new place. Summer 2009 was the best summer of my life and I cannot wait to do it again!
