Mission Projects:
Hundreds of groups have served in the Golden Isles and Brunswick area with TEAMeffort for years through work projects and children's outreach programs. This service will be ongoing as youth serve in struggling neighborhoods through home repair, painting, and maintenance. Outreach to children throughout the area will continue as will work at local ministries.
Lodging:
Groups stay at a camp facility in bunk style housing.
The camp has a Chapel, dining room, fellowship areas and
sports fields. It’s a camp built to host mission teams and to help
facilitate ministry in the area. All meals are provided except for
two lunches and two dinners during free time.
Area Attractions: Beaches, Jekyll Island, St. Simons Island, Summer Waves Water Park, the Lighthouse, Pier Village...
Typical Schedule:
Sunday: Registration begins at 6:00 pm . Orientation, music and worship.
Monday: Work on the mission projects . Beach cook-out, music and program.
Tuesday: Work on mission projects. Evening music and worship.
Wednesday: Work on mission project . Evening music and program.
Thursday: Work on mission projects until lunch. Free afternoon. Evening closing worship service.
Friday: Free day to visit local attractions . Friday night Fellowship.
Saturday: Depart by 10:00 am.
