Cherokee, NC
Located in western North Carolina the town of Cherokee is home to a large population of Cherokee Indians. Throughout the area are numerous neighborhoods and families in great need. Groups will have the chance to reach out to theses struggling families by helping with home repair and renovation. For this impoverished area, even the smallest amount of help brings new hope. Your youth have an opportunity to put their faith into action through hands on projects while showing the love of Christ to people who are struggling to just get by.
Groups will stay just off outside of Cherokee in college dorms with use of Chapel, pool, dining hall, and recreation facilities. All meals are provided except one lunch and two dinners during free time.

Typical Schedule:
Sunday: Registration begins at 6:00 pm. Orientations, music & program.
Monday: Work on the mission projects. Cookout. Evening music & program.
Tuesday: Work on the mission projects. Sports & games night. Evening music & program.
Wednesday: Work on the mission projects. Evening music & program. Native American dinner & cultural experience.
Thursday: Work on the mission projects until lunch. Evening closing worship service.
Friday: Free day.
Saturday: Depart by 10:00 am.
